Slow Seasons Have Purpose

Oh, hey—it’s been a minute!
Life got, well, life-y and I found myself in a slow, cocoon of a season. My husband lost his job in Summer 2020 (we all know how that time was already going 🤪), I had another baby (that makes 3!), homeschooling, career moves, moving cities. Lots of good stress, some hard stress and still, stress nonetheless.

If you’re wondering how we know each other — maybe we met through The Happy Moms Show, The Moms in Business Collective, Your Message Matters, Train the Brain, The Strong Women’s Summit or one of my happiness workshops. However we crossed paths, I’m so glad we did. ✨

Let me tell you what I’m up to these days to see if you wanna stick around. If not, no worries—I’m all for curating the content you consume in a way that feels inspiring and spacious!

Here’s what I've been up to lately: For the past 2+ years as of the day I’m writing this post, I’ve been publishing weekly podcast episodes. I started the Raising Wild Hearts podcast with my 3rd baby on my hip, desperate for some adult conversation and excited to talk about the things that light me up.

Check out a few of the most popular episodes:

🎧Nervous system regulation: The key to connection and Thriving with Adam Hart

🎧 Connection Over Control: Ending Power Struggles with Your Kids with Ginny Luther

🎧 The Good Mood Revolution: Igniting the Power of Conscious Happiness with Matt O'Neill

🎧 Nature and Nourishment with Alicia Garcia

So that little pic of me sitting at my desk (AKA, my home podcast studio!) is where the magic has been happening.

The podcasting, the writing, the connecting, the creating.

I’m super happy to be back in a season of creativity and forward motion but honestly, that slow season was exactly what I needed.

The space to heal.

The reflection to discover what truly matters to me.

The slowness to remind me that this-thing-called-life is not a race.

The reminder to focus on the journey, not the destination.

So if you’re in a slow season, a busy season, or anywhere in between—I get it and I hope you’re giving yourself what you need these days.

I’ll be sharing more soon — little love notes from my journey, updates on workshops and gatherings, and heart-centered offerings for those of you feeling the call to create, heal, or simply breathe a little deeper.

For now, just know: you’ve been on my heart.

Talk soon — with so much gratitude,

Ryann 🌙
